The group turned their sights at the mountain when they got ready. The plan was now to cross through a mountain pass a bit north of where they already were. The mountain pass was a difficult trail, it went up single file to the peak and straight down from there. There was snow, rocks and mud all the way to the top and then on the way down. The days had been clear up to today, so they didn’t anticipate any bad weather, however, it was hard to say for sure.

They began their journey. Red looked at his hand once again and it was still like an open wound. Black on the outside of the gash. No blood was coming out of it. Finley appeared once again to thank him for what he had done. He looked at Red’s hand as well and couldn’t make out what was happening. Neither of them had read anything on blood magick before, because it was forbidden, so it was difficult to know what was going on. They planned to keep a close watch on the wound and not use blood magick again.
